Hayfaver. Enough already. Antihistimines make me doo-lally. Hayfever makes me grumpy. I have the Christmas spirit to get into but hayfever is hindering that somewhat. Although hubby tells me that if I drank the Christmas spirit I might forget the hayfever. So thoughtful. And so wise.
And so happy. Because he went fishing twice at the weekend. He asked me to post this photo for Vaughan to see.
Reason #254 that you should come home, Vaughan… (reason #1 being that we miss you and #2 being that the lollie jar is full of purple lollies).

The latest issue of Scrapbooking & Cards today is out, it’s a Canadian mag and it’s fabulous. I have an article inside this issue – simple, detailed expert – using the same pics in different ‘levels’ of scrapping (meaning time spent and product used etc!) using the same products. I used the BAsicGrey Figgy Pudding, which I love – but didn’t use it in a Christmas sense.

Prima has a DT call I see – I’m loving their products lately, I especially love the Iron Orchid Designs stuff, Prima is essentially known for their flowers but they do wicked-cool paper, ribbons, rub-ons, stamps etc. Anyway, DT call – including internationals! That alone earns them a tonne of respect. Details here!

Ok down to the nitty gritty, I’m giving some stuff away with it being Christmas and all – so share the love by linking others to this giveaway post… I’ll be giving away a copy of my book later in the week, but for now I have this small pile of rubons, they include some from 7gypsies, Rouge De Garance, Fancypants, Deja Views, some acrylic letters from heidi Grace and some imagination Project stuff. Leave me a comment – any old thing, any comments that have cures for hayfever that don’t include antihistimine are favoured, lol.
Anyway. Say Hello. I’ll pick a winner in a few days and send this stuff out.
One can never have too many rub-ons.

    Eat more CRANBERRIES!! Okay so that just might not work!! – have you tried an osteopath, doesn’t stop the sneezing and the itchy throat (so hate that) but does stop you from getting a blocked nose.

    I have been told that a drop of castor oil in a teaspoon of water taken every morning will cure hayfever. It’s worth a try anyway.

    hi nic, thanks for being a great source of inspiration. as for the hay fever, i use claryntine and find it doesnt make me groggy, i can use it while i got to work no problem

    Hey Nic I just posted said all sorts of wonderful things about you but it not showing up won’t redo incase there a time delay and then you end up with two of my ramblings – the main message was I go to my Doctor and get a injection for my HAYFEVER (which drives me nuts – as least I blame the hayfever lol)it really works and is fantastic

    I`m taking note of all the hayfever coping ideas too. Totally sick of the itchy eyes and sneezes and summers just begun!

    My son suffers from really bad hayfever as. We have found to be good cleaning out the nose with warm, slightly salty water, tip the head to the side and pour through. I cant think of the name of the little pot thing we use. Its very easy and keeps him sniffle free for about 3 days. He does the water thing in the shower himself.
    Before that we used hayfever tablets that had Lortadine in them as opposed to the other stuff. Here in Australia it was in Allereze or claratyne.
    I have been told to eat a teaspoon of local honey every morning, apparently if its local it gets your body used to the local pollen, not sure if it works, we got onto the nose draining thing before we had to resort to that. Goodluck finding something that works for you
