The internet is a curious thing. I've been posting layout, cards, tags and other creative paper stuff on my blog, facebook and via pinterest for years now. I'd estimate thousands of images have travelled the internet in the name of those that like to surf the creative waves in their spare time.
Yet it is this t-shirt tutorial on changing an old t-shirt into a cute singlet that seems to come back time after time, sending my blog hits through the roof and qualifying me for comments such as "That is so cute!" "Wow when did you go to Wisconsin" and today I even got the "How to look white trash in a matter of minutes". Eh. Each to their own.

One of the biggest critisisms of this 5 minute creative venture and spur-of-the-moment-photoshoot-that-I-never-thought-for-a-minute-would-be-seen-by-a-million-people was that you could see the black straps – it's amazing what nasty things people will see when they don't realise the person in the photo might see it – that's Ok, I understand some people would feel that way. I don't really care whilst relaxing in my fabulously sunny back yard hanging out with friends and having a few quiet drinks, yet I know some would. On the days I plan to walk the red carpet or shake hands with royalty I'll put on the non-strap version I made a year later.

And this blog post today is for those people that have found my blog via the latest random internet linking in which 974,818 people are bound to get my picture in their facebook feeds in the next day or so. (No exageration, the facebook page my pinterest picture was shared on is 'liked' by nearly 1 million people). In the last hour since it was posted it has been 'liked' nearly 1000 times, shared 280 times and I've had comments ranging from those remembering how they used to make these in high school to the classy lady that commented how I managed to turn white trash in merely minutes. Seriously. Hopefully I've now redeemed myself by posting the non-strappy picture and promising I won't wear it on the red carpet. 😉
