Meet Penny.

Those of you that have my book may remember a layout about my childhood companion, Heidi.  Heidi was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I had her from when I was 8 years old (Abby's age) until I was 18.  She was my constant friend through most of my childhood.  I have wanted another Cav since I lost Heidi 20 years ago. 

Yesterday, finally, we welcomed little Penny into our family.  She is already the most fussed over puppy on earth. We'd waited and waited for the right time and finally it's here.   Welcome, little Penny – ain't she cute?  You can guarantee to see many, many puppy layouts in my very near future.

    Adorable! We have a Blenheim boy who is 13 this year…my kids would love a Tricolour girl…they have even picked out her name 🙂 Penny will bring you so much joy!

    SHE IS ADORABLE !!! My favourite breed of dog too.
    I’ll be in North Park in March….is that anywhere near you??? If so, any good recommendations for scrap shops in the area? (although I will be travelling with non-scrapping friends!!)
